Refund policy

E-Machines Returns Policy

E-Machines is operated by EVA-Ride Pty Ltd (“E-Machines”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

E-Machines offers refunds and accepts returns for goods that are faulty.

E-Machines does not accept returns based on consumer choice or change of mind. Where a return is accepted with prior approval, the product must be unused, in its original packaging, in perfect condition and returned within 30 days. A restocking fee of up to 15% will apply.

Approved goods may be returned for store credit and must include their original packaging.

Discounted or sale items are not returnable or refundable unless required by law.

Nothing in this Returns Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy provided by law, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds are strictly limited to those required by law or otherwise expressly approved by E-Machines.

Customers must comply with all reasonable directions from our staff when arranging or completing a return.

Products returned under this policy must include their original packaging and all accessories.

Where you return a product because we have failed to comply with a consumer guarantee, you must return the product to us at your expense unless it cannot be returned, removed or transported without significant cost to you because of:

(a) the nature of our failure to comply with the consumer guarantee; or

(b) the size, height or method of attachment of the product.

Clothing and Helmets

E-Machines will not accept the return of a helmet more than seven days after delivery, except where the return concerns a warranty issue or is otherwise required by law.

Helmet returns will not be accepted if the helmet has been worn, scratched or damaged in any way. If we reasonably believe the helmet’s shell has been compromised, we may refuse the return, subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Clothing returns will only be accepted if the items are in perfect condition with all original tags attached.

Helmet exchanges are assessed individually and are not approved until a member of our Online Sales Team has inspected the helmet and determined that it is suitable for resale. Clothing returns will be assessed in the same manner.

For a first-time helmet purchase, E-Machines recommends visiting our store to be professionally measured and fitted. If you cannot visit our store, we recommend trying on the helmet at a local dealer. Our team is also happy to assist you over the phone.

Bikes

We do not accept change-of-mind returns for bikes unless they remain in perfect, unused condition and the return has received prior approval.

The bike must be returned exactly as received, with its original packaging, accessories, labels and pricing attached. A bike delivered in a box must not have been assembled or ridden.

Returns that do not meet these conditions may only be considered following an in-store inspection and will be accepted at our discretion, subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Return freight charges are the customer’s responsibility, except for faulty products, products accepted under warranty or products supplied as a result of our error. In those circumstances, we may provide a prepaid Australia Post return label.

If a returned product is not suitable for resale, we reserve the right to refuse the return or charge the customer for return postage, subject to applicable law.

Exchange and Return Timeframes

Please allow up to five business days for us to process an approved exchange or store credit after the returned product has been received.

A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to approved change-of-mind returns.

Additional delays may occur due to processing times between financial institutions.

Return delivery times vary depending on your location and chosen shipping method. Please allow additional time for us to process your refund, exchange or store credit after the return arrives.

Warranties

Product warranties are generally provided by the relevant manufacturer. E-Machines may assist customers in communicating with the manufacturer and facilitating a warranty claim.

E-Machines reserves the right to charge reasonable costs for services that are not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, where permitted by law and disclosed to the customer in advance.

Workshop labour and other services not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty may be charged to the customer.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
